One of the best moments ever was after an extremely bad day of work I came home to flowers and chocolates with John Mayer playing in the back ground and my boyfriend at the time softly singing along. It was like all the stress and anger melted away.
I saw him in concert for new years eve 2009, it was the best concert ever!
Don't get me wrong the chocolate and flowers helped too ;) I'm seriously way girly when it comes to liking those things, I mean flowers just die but the meaning behind them is what I really love. Just the fact that someone was thinking about you long enough to buy them and bring them to you.

Random
Well all of my posts are pretty random, this one maybe more so than others..
When at work I love to look at food blogs even though it ALWAYS makes me hungry, my favorites are:
foodgawker.com and thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/ if you thinking why would a person do this to themselves? the main reason being that when I grow up and get my own place I will have my kitchen set up exactly how I want and will cook often. I want to be able to come up with ideas :) I know I'm a dork.
My car finally got fixed! I was in a little fender bender on April 15th and now my baby looks brand new!
during the really bad storms here in cedar about a week ago our house got hit by lightening. It fried syd's stove, her tv, the internet modem, and reset my tv, also it turned on my radio (weird). I have been without internet and tv until today! So yay for everything working!
I have a good portion of everything I need for moving out, you should see my room! It is completely packed full of stuff! Truth be told I love ALL of the stuff I've gotten! Now I just have to finish my degree and get that pay raise!
from the movie "bridesmaids" the quote; "you are the source of all your problems but you are also the solutions" (man I love inspirational quotes!)
there is something so sweet about satisfaction, it may not last but for a moment you were right about everything ;) I definitely love being right about things.
growing up isn't an overnight process but you know when you are by the way you deal with others and your own problems. I have grown up a lot in the almost 4 years I've worked at the hospital (I guess you could say my coworkers really taught me tons as well as my personal life too)

something borrowed
Last night Syd and I went and saw something borrowed, it was way cute! I loved all the actors and and actresses they chose for the movie. It is based on the novel that I read several years ago and I thought they did a great job! A few quotes that I loved from this movie (because I seem to get all my touching quotes from movies!)
"I want to be someone's first choice"
"don't make someone a priority when they are only willing to make you an option"
These are both about relationships and we know that I have had very hard time with following them. But I've learned it is important for me to wear the pants in the relationship (sometimes). I try to take the lead and make decisions be less apologetic and willing to take compliments. Mostly I have found my self confidence again and maybe it took a little bit of excess "cheese" but its here and here to stay.
Who knows what I'm doing now... maybe messing things up, maybe I'm learning to live in the moment. Will I have regrets? No I don't think so.
